Good Day! You’ve landed on the home page of the South African Oncology Social Workers’ Forum. We’re a small group of dedicated social workers who practice in state-funded settings, in private oncology practices and in palliative care environments. Some of our members are independent private practitioners in the field of oncology.
Our aims are:
- to improve the psychosocial care of persons with cancer, their families and caregivers
- to unite South African oncology social workers by increasing the awareness of, and need for, psychosocial services in cancer care
- to promote education, networking, research and resource development
Please explore our website and feel free to Contact Us with questions or suggestions.
